Shiloh was the first outsider that she felt comfortable enough with to welcome into her family. With time, Shiloh became, by any definition of the word, family. Surprisingly, Sevi has complete trust in Shiloh. Not only is she family, but she's Sevi's closest friend. She has nothing but love and gratitude for the assassin. She would defend Shiloh with her life.

x Chapter One :: Life Before the Wreck x
The sisters were born in a remote village in northern Turkey about 1,000 kilometers from Istanbul. There house was within walking distance from the schoolhouse and of equal distance to the beach. Not to mention their grandparents lived right next door along with all three of their aunts and both of their uncles. As the oldest, Sevi would escort her sisters to and from school, to and from their grandparents house, and to and from the beach. Even though she was only ever a year older than Selma and three years older than Ece, Sevi was put in charge of their care. At six years old she was ‘babysitting’ her siblings, walking them across the street, and making sure they didn’t go too far out in the water. By the time her youngest sister was born she was eight and already ‘acting’ mother. All that served as training for when her parents passed away tragically in a vehicle accident along with their beloved uncle, Yasin, only year after Lale was born.
x Chapter Two :: Coming Of Age x
At age nine, Sevi and her sisters were orphaned. They moved in with their widowed grandmother, ‘Babaanne’ or ‘Baba’. Feeling the heartbreak of losing her two sons and the pain of her granddaughters loss, Baba was incredibly lenient with her granddaughters freedom. And the village had taken notice. They attended the village’s public school, hung out with friends of both genders, and sunbathed on the local beach or on the porch of their grandmother's house. Their 'indecencies' were all the gossip in that small town. They were free to wear modern, nonconservative clothing and were almost never given restrictions on curfew.
When Sevi entered her teenage years, she fell in love with an older boy, Ekin, in her village. Ekin was only two years older than she was, but because of the narrow minded village folk, their attraction was marked a scandal and they were banned from ever seeing one another except in the company of family. Sevi’s conservative, elderly aunts refused to indulge her little romance and Sevi was forced to continue seeing Ekin in secret. She was forced to climb up and down the water drain that ran up the side of the house and right past Lale's window. Sevi relied on her little sister greatly to sneak her in and out of the house without catching her grandmothers attention. Sevi and Ekin's romantic relationship continued for the next three years with Lale's loyal help.
Meanwhile, Sevi was also getting opportunities outside of her village. Her aunt, Perri, was a film editor who traveled all over the world and on a few occasions she would take Sevi and her sisters along. During the summer, Sevi explored New York and Los Angeles. Her summers in America taught her the English language (not well, but enough to get around). Perri was not conservative like Sevi's great-aunts. And her background in film opened Sevi up to a whole new world where women were treated equally and they could choose their own paths. She worshipped her aunt for opening her eyes.
x Chapter Three :: ‘Lets Walk’ x
‘… Everything changed in the blink of an eye. One moment we were fine, then everything turned to shit.'
The sun was out. The sky was clear. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. After a long school day, the Sadik sisters usually rode the van that brought them to and from the village and school. But on warm days they were eager to walk. It was one of those rare warm days after a string of brumal weather. Out of habit, Selma hopped into the van, but Sevi protested. “Selma,” her voice got all high-pitch and demanding. “The sun’s out. Let’s walk.”
Selma slumped out of the van and Sevi called together some of her friends to go down to the beach with them, including Ekin. Sevi and her entourage stripped out of their uniform ties and knee-high socks so they could run through the water. Sevi suggested that they play an innocent game of ‘chicken’, where the girls would sit up on the boys shoulders and attempt to knock each other off and into the water. It started as a simple game, but it turned into their demise.
When they got home, their grandmother was standing at the top of the stairs, glaring down at them. Their laughter stopped. Baba wagged her finger and called Sevi up the stairs first. Sevi had to strip in the privacy of her grandmother’s bedroom where she was hit with the switch three times and then shoved out the door and into her four sisters arms. The beatings followed copacetic, but the sisters fought it violently, clinging to one another and screaming at their grandmother, demanding to know what made her so angry with them. Clinging to Ece, Baba explained that the girls were in trouble for being openly promiscuous with the village boys and that their neighbours were beginning to talk about the girl’s ‘purity’. She claimed that the girls had 'pleasured themselves on the boys necks' and when the girls tried to protest it only made Baba more certain of her granddaughters sins.
Dilara and Lale stormed off just before Ece disappeared behind the locked door. Sevi and Selma followed suit and Ece caught up moments later with an angry grandmother at her tail. Sevi led her sisters down the street as their grandmother screamed at their backs, neglecting to cover her head and feet. When she finally caught up to her granddaughters, Lale was in a fury. She screamed violent insults at their grandmother until Baba slapped her across the face, forcing Sevi to take action. She stepped in front of her little sister and looked down at her tiny, wrinkled Baba and spit on the ground, “hypocrite”. That was the end of their liberty.
x Chapter Four :: Arrangements x
The girls virginity was in question. Baba called in her oldest and only surviving son, Erol. He drove Sevi and the older sisters to a clinic to ‘check’ their purity. Sevi confided in Lale when they got home. She confessed that the test was incredibly uncomfortable and invasive, but chose not to divulge any other information about the experience to her littlest sister's fledgling ears.
After Sevi and her sisters were cleared, their uncle threw them into the ‘marriage’ market. He began working on marriage arrangements with the most notable boys in the village. In public, the girls are forced to dress in ‘shit-coloured’ dresses and braid their long hair behind their back. Instead of attending school they had to work at home, learning how to cook, sew, and clean. Sevi continued to find ways to sneak out of the house in the dead of night to meet Ekin at the beach or in the woods.
The inevitable happened. Sevi woke up one morning at her Baba bustling around the room, forcing Sevi to dress in one of those ‘shit-coloured’ dresses that made her body look flat and her skin pallid. She pushed her down the stairs and into the living room where women dressed in decorated shayla’s (headscarves) and men wearing uniforms sat around the edges of the room. Immediately, Sevi knew that this was a family wishing to marry off their son. Infuriated, she pushed her grandmother into the kitchen. Surrounded by her sisters, dressed in the same 'shit-coloured' dresses, Sevi locked the family of six into the little square kitchen.
“If you try to marry me off,” she whispered, “I’ll scream.”
Her grandmother back off as Sevi got closer. “What?” She asked, puzzled.
Sevi opened her mouth and began to scream before the grandmother clasped her clammy palm over Sevi’s mouth, muffling the horrible shrill. Baba gave in, but with one condition. If Sevi wanted to continue seeing Ekin he would have to ask for her hand in marriage. Sevi may have gotten rid of the stranger in the living room, but she passed that stranger onto her next sister, Selma. In the end, Sevi was able to convince Ekin to propose to her and the match that her Baba tried to set up for her was now Selma’s problem.
x Chapter Five :: The Riots x
Turkey was in turmoil. The country was divided as was the Sadik household. Perri was no longer welcome in the Sadik's lives. She moved to America and was given no contact with her nieces. Sevi and her sisters were isolated, trapped, and starving from boredom. The president of Turkey was worshipped in the household; Sevi, on the other hand, remembered her aunt and decided to take action against her family and her narrow-minded village.
Sevi called her sisters into her and Selma's room one late night. Lale stole a phone from the grandmother's closet and they found Perri's number to tell her about what was happening under their roof. Perri told them about protests happening outside of their village. Sevi, wanting to make a statement against her country and her president, convinced her sisters that it was a good idea to attend the protest the following night. They waited until their Baba and great-aunts went to the market and their uncle was watching the game to sneak out of the house. Lale stole money to get them on the bus to the next town over. They left when the sun was still out.
Sevi hadn't done her research on the protests. She neglected to learn that the protests usually turned violent and were more like 'riots' than anything else. She clutched her little sisters hand and they walked together with a herd of angry women and men until they were confronted by the authorities. The protestors refused to back down. They pushed forward, crushing the police under their picket signs and heavy boots; but the police had something the protestors had not: guns.
Six were wounded. Three were dead. Selma was caught in the cross-fire and among the wounded there she was. The police hit her shoulder, but the bullet was blocked by her shoulder blade. Sevi caught Selma before she fell on the concrete. An unspeakable anger boiled in her blood and she broke out into a massive wolf, taking the offensive officer's head clean off his body. When she realised what she had done she ran into the nearby woods where she shifted back into human form. Sevi sat against a tree for hours; her naked body covered by blood; her skin scratched and red.
Ece found her in the dark. She covered Sevi with a blank and led her back home where her Baba and aunts were waiting for her. Sevi expected her aunts to yell, but they took Sevi in their arms. They washed her off, cleaned her wounds, and put her into something comfortable before they sat the girls down in the living room to tell them the truth about their ancestry. Sevi learned that they came from a longline of wolves and that they were given a 'homemade remedy' to suppress the 'beast within' since they were eleven.
x Chapter Six :: Wedding Day x
After Sevi's first experience as a wolf and after learning the truth about her ancestry, she devised a plan. In shock, Sevi had forgotten about her wedding in two days and that beautiful man she loved. She had only one wish. It was to leave. Their Baba, their aunts, their own parents had lied to them about everything. They were supposed to go on never learning about their ancestry. She called a meeting the night before her and Selma's wedding day.
The following morning was all about preparation. Sevi and Selma were swarmed by their female relatives as they dressed and pampered the girls only hours before they were supposed to meet their 'husbands' in the courtyard. The house was decorated in cream-coloured lights and white and red lace. Sevi's dress was a magnificent ballgown; her veil was a glorious red. She was supposed to be happy-- in a way, she was. She was going to save her sisters and herself, but she would have to say goodbye to the only boy she had ever loved.
Sevi and Selma went through with the ceremony. But before the girls were driven off to the consummation, they would be escorted to their rooms to 'prepare' for the occasion. Sevi and Selma snuck the other three sisters into the room and once they helped Sevi and Selma out of their gowns and the adults were downstairs, drinking and dancing, the sisters locked themselves into the house. Lale gathered food. Dilara and Selma gathered clothes. Ece was in charge of valuables and Sevi was in charge of finding Erol's keys and getting the car started and parked at the bottom of Lale's bedroom window.
It wasn't an easy escape. Once they packed the car, the uncle heard the engine running over the music. The wedding party came charging out of the courtyard. They were forced to leave a few things behind, but they had everything they needed to get to Istanbul. Lale called on an old friend. They were able to ditch the car before the bus station, but the worry didn't stop there. Sevi found a man who could transport them to Europe by train, but from there they would have to find their own way to America. Sevi planned to find their aunt, but the likely hood of that was slim.

x Chapter Seven :: America x
Sevi wasn't able to afford a flight to America. She snuck her sisters onto a passenger ship and it took them one week, but they finally made it to New York. Sevi began the search for their aunt, but they couldn't stay in New York forever. It was too expensive and unsafe for her family. She and her sisters hopped from bus to bus until they made it to Louisiana, the werewolf capital of the United States. Sevi was the only one at the time who had experienced the transformation and her curiosity was blooming; she hoped to find more like her and they only way to do that was to take risks.
Sevi was forced to get a job to pay for the hotel they were staying in. For three months, they were confined to a crappy hotel room with questionable bedspreads. Until, Sevi made contact with another wolf. Shiloh introduced Sevi and her sister to a entire pack with abilities just like them. With time, Sevi was welcomed into the pack and she welcomed Shiloh into her home. The Sadik's moved into an apartment once they had stable jobs and stable loyalties. Shiloh helped out more often than not. And Sevi's sister, Selma, made the official welcome of Shiloh into their little family.
Since finding Shiloh and a pack, Sevi forgot about finding their aunt. She was too distracted by the overwhelming happiness of her newfound American life.
Chapter Eight :: Land of Broken Promises
American was supposed to be a new start for the Sadik sisters, but the closer they got to the pack they more they got burned. On the day of the incubi attack on 19 December 2016, Sevi and Shiloh found that their whole lives could be shattered in seconds. Sevi had heard the screaming coming from the woods. Her and Shiloh rushed to the scene only to discover that they were moments too late. Selma's body was twisted and bloodied in the most undignified death. Sevi was left with the impossible task of having to tell her sisters and her pack members, unable to function or breathe. The loss of her sister was numbing.
