O L I V E R :: •••• ••• •••• ••• ••• ••• • :: Despite the age gap, Evelyn and Oliver have always gotten along. She's always felt comfortable and protected by her oldest brother, especially when she quarrels with her other siblings. He's always been there to lend a comforting hand. Evelyn has much respect for her older brother and usually does what he tells her. She doesn't often go against his wishes unless she positive that she's on the right track. Evelyn looks up to her older brother, hoping that way day she can be as strong and independent as he is.
E A D L Y N :: •••• ••• •••• ••• ••• ••• :: Evelyn's earliest memory is of her older sister. She spent a lot of her infant years in Eadlyn's arms, not because Eadlyn was forced to, but because she wanted to. It was because of Eadlyn's eager maternal nature that gravitated Evelyn towards her. She has a strong bond with Eadlyn that she doesn't have with her other siblings. She trusts and values Eadlyn unconditionally. She's a devoted follower and loyal friend. Evelyn has so much love for her sister it's hard to hide. Evelyn is very affectionate towards Eadlyn and if she's at anyone's side, she's at Eadlyn's.
N E V A E H :: •••• ••• ••• • • • •• :: Evelyn has always been fascinated with her older sister, Nevaeh. She was sort of a mystery to her. Nevaeh was seldom seen, but often heard. Evelyn remembers hearing her shouting at Eadlyn or their mother. But despite Nevaeh's off-putting persona, Evelyn always wanted to be close to her. Nevaeh represented beauty and popularity; Evelyn desperately wanted to be part of that and understand why her sister was the way she was. She always hoped that she could be the one that Nevaeh would open up to and love the way she never loved anyone in their house.

Chapter One :: Two Mothers
Evelyn's earliest memory is being in Eadlyn's arms as they walked through the park in the hall. Evelyn remembers looking up at the trees that seemed to be hundreds of feet tall, shedding lightly coloured leaves of orange and yellow and covered the path they walked on. Her sister was humming mindlessly as they walked; Evelyn was hugging her sisters neck, eyes slowly beginning to close. She must've been only two and the event was so insignificant, but it was important to Evelyn. Obviously. It had to be. Or she wouldn't remember it.
Evelyn grew up under the watchful eye of her older sister. Veronica and Daniel worked and Evelyn was left with her three older siblings-- well two. If Veronica and Daniel were out then so was Nevaeh. Evelyn never understood where she went in the middle of the night, but she also never questioned it. She was too distracted with Eadlyn and Oliver to dwell on it. When Evelyn first started school, Eadlyn was the one to drive her and drop her off. Most of her youth before her first year of school, Evelyn spent with her sister.
Chapter Two :: A Glimmer of Hope
Nevaeh was sort of an enigma in the house. The only one that even had an idea what she was like was Eadlyn, but she wouldn't share with Evelyn. She once asked Eadlyn why Nevaeh never talked to her and Eadlyn just shrugged her shoulders saying that it was a teenager thing, which didn't make any sense to Evelyn since Eadlyn was a teenager too and she didn't ignore her. Evelyn's curiosity grew with her height. When Nevaeh was at Kate's, Evelyn would explore her room. She never found much of interest though. She didn't know what half the stuff in there was.
When her sister suddenly started dating a boy named Nat things seemed to change. Evelyn can't remember why, but one night when her parents were out, she was left in Nevaeh's care. She doesn't know where Eadlyn or Oliver were, but she was entrusted to the enigmatic Nevaeh. For the first half hour they sat on opposite ends of the sofa, staring at the TV in complete silence. But then the doorbell rang and Nevaeh jumped to the door. Evelyn watched as her sister skipped away and returned with a boy linked together at the hands. Evelyn was too afraid to say anything and she was pretty sure that Nevaeh was going to ditch to hangout with her boyfriend; but Evelyn was surprised when she heard her sister say, "you want to spend the evening with my nine-year-old sister?" And Evelyn's sure she heard him say, "why not?"
Nevaeh and Nat played with her the whole night. Nevaeh even let her stay up past her bedtime. Nat chased them around the house, playing hide-and-go-seek and tag. Nevaeh even ventured to play one of Evelyn's 'imaginary games' which she deemed silly and stupid before Nat came along. It was the first time in her young life that Evelyn felt that she had two sisters. At the end of the night, Evelyn even hugged Nevaeh goodnight. But when Eadlyn and Oliver returned, everything went back to normal. Nevaeh and Evelyn went back to ignoring each other, which broke Evelyn's heart more than she thought it could. How could she miss something she never had?
Chapter Three :: Uprooted
Evelyn had long since fallen asleep. The sky was black and her Lion King nightlight was glowing yellow in the corner of her room next to the door. Then all of the sudden the door flew open and her parents came rushing in, not even bothering to nudge her awake. She was thrown into her dad's arms and her mother grabbed her coat and boots. "What's going on?" She mumbled, only half-awake.
"We're going to the hospital." Her mother explained vaguely. Evelyn was confused, 'I'm not sick'. She thought to herself. She was put in the backseat with her brother, Oliver, who obviously knew what was going on. She fell asleep with her head on his lap before they even pulled out of the driveway. She didn't wake up until she was hit with florescent lights from the lobby of the hospital. Oliver carried her up the elevator to the fourth floor where he set her on the ground and ran after his parents, disappearing into one of the rooms on the left. Evelyn stood in the middle of the hall with a thin jacket and her pajama pants halfway tucked into her Ugg boots.
"Evelyn," she heard her name being called and she looked around the corner. It was Nat. What was he doing here? She walked over and sat down in the chair next to him. His face was red and his eyes were puffy. He looked like he had been crying. Evelyn didn't understand why, but she still felt compelled to comfort him. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and refused to let go for a long time. He welcomed the embrace and began to cry softly into the arm of her jacket.
Evelyn only found out that her sister was the one in the hospital the next morning when she was permitted to visit her. Nevaeh looked so small in her hospital bed. She didn't have any makeup on. Her face was pallid, almost ghostly. Her eyes had dark circles under them and she had a monstrous bruise on her cheek. Seeing her there frightened Evelyn. She hid behind her brother the whole time, too afraid to get close. She was convinced that it wasn't Nevaeh in that bed, that it was some stranger that just looked like her, but not as pretty. No one ever explained why Nevaeh was in the hospital or why she looked the way she did. Oliver told her that she was going to rehab because she had done something 'really bad', but that was the only explanation Evelyn ever got.
Chapter Four :: The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe
While Evelyn wasn't thrilled about the prospect of going 'a million miles' away she was also excited about new adventures in the country. She also believed in a chance to reunite her family and join Nevaeh with the rest of the Pevensie's, something she had dreamed about her entire life. Evelyn is most excited about their summer plans, but nervous and anxious all at once.
