The greatest protector of all time was the she-wolf, Larentia: a mother by choice rather than biology. She saved and raised the orphan kings, Romulus and Remus in ancient times. Legend tells that the two boys harvested the powers of the wolf and were able to turn when the moon was full to their "purest form". Larentia was thus known as the mother of the werewolves. From there, her werewolf children would go on to discover Rome and become fathers of their nation and their own breed of werewolves.

After the fall of Rome came the fall of the wolf. Soon the nations were split and war erupted across the continent, forcing a lot of the werewolf tribes to go into hiding under threat of extinction. After a time, the werewolves were forgotten in the "real world" and it was easy for them to hide and protect themselves from an unforgiving world. Small, but proud, the remaining tribes spread across the world and continued to protect the humans from threats they didn't even know existed.

Now, a small and chaotic tribe of wandering wolves have banded together in the supernatural capital of the United States: Baskerville, Louisiana. Taking on the strays and training the brightest and weakest of the werewolf world, Larentia's Order is the fastest growing werewolf tribe in the nation and proves to be a real threat against the ever-growing and ever-violent race of demons that seem to be taking over the whole of the city.
