: Backstory :
Of course, the Mother :: Sebastian did not start out in the best of circumstances. His mother died when he was just five years-old. His father was constantly moving from job to job in order to feed Sebastian and his younger sister. Overtime, the stress of moving and struggling to stay financially stable took its tole on Sebastian's father, and he took to drinking. He was an angry drunk and frequently took his frustrations out on his children. Not wanting the little sister to take the brunt of their father's fury, Bash took a lot of it. He loved his sister despite the fact she had some learning issues and needed a lot more attention. It fell on Sebastian to have her looked after.
Numbing the Pain :: Sebastian was sixteen when his little sister was killed during a robbery. Being so poor, he and his sister had to share a room, so they heard noises downstairs. Their father had his gun close at hand and went downstairs to investigate. He and Sebastian split up and searched for the intruder, looking behind and under furniture. Sebastian was just getting ready to call to his father that he didn't find anything, when a shot rang out in the living room followed by a heavy thud. Sebastian came running, only to find his dad yelling about how he got the lowlife who had broken in, when Sebastian saw that it hadn't been an intruder his father shot; lying on the floor in a pool of her own blood was his littler sister. She took a few ragged breaths before dying in her brother's arms. The police came and arrested Sebastian's father since he was intoxicated. Sebastian attended his sister's funeral and simply spiraled from there. He wrote music with more determination but he also did drugs. He drank occasionally, but his go-to drugs were weed and cocaine. The drugs took away his anxiety and stemmed the nightmares of his dead sister.
To Ramsay House :: Moving to the States was not exactly Sebastian's idea, but his family pleaded with his Aunt Lucille to give him a chance and take him in for a short while. He was doing fairly well on his own, writing songs and playing, but London brought on too many painful memories. Paris was fun for partying, but it was not home to him. He found some of his distant relatives, but they obviously didn't want a drug-using, homeless musician in their homes. They contacted Lucille, and she agreed to take Sebastian in if he got a stable job. He's a bartender in town, but he also makes a few bucks singing in the lounge, too. He sleeps in a room as far from the rest of the family as he can get and avoids interacting with them. He keeps to himself, playing guitar, writing songs, and hot boxing whenever he can.
