Charity was raised an only child with her mother for the first fifteen years of her life. Because she was a child out of wedlock, Charity's family wasn't really involved in her upbringing. Her mother moved around a lot, bringing her all over the world and giving her the most incredible experiences. She didn't know a lot about her father. Her mother was very private about it. While she had questions about him and the life they could've had, Charity didn't press on it. She was comfortable with her life and loved the adventures her mother took her on.

When she was twelve, she started going through her transition. This was pretty average for a werewolf child. Their werewolf heritage was never hidden from Charity growing up. Her mother wasn't very secretive about where they came from and was sure to prepare Charity for the changes that the werewolf side would bring. Unfortunately, for Charity, there was never a pack to nurture her canine counterpart.

Then on Charity's thirteenth birthday, Juliet (her mother) found out that she had cancer. 

Three years of chemotherapy and other sciences, Charity watched as her mother slowly disappeared. Juliet tried to find a safe space for Charity after her death, but when you spent your whole life running it was hard to make connections. On her death bed, Juliet finally reached out to Charity's father-- a warlock that she had hooked up with seventeen years ago. Charity was given an address and a phone number. She tracked down her father, who had gotten the letter from her mother. On his way to find her, she found him.

She's been with Thomas ever since, and he's been doing everything to protect her from the world and teach her about it's wonders all the same.
