Odette was born unhappy. She never felt fulfilled in anything she did. She desperately wanted to explore the world and escape the dullness that was her life. She had an excellent father, a doting mother and two clever younger sisters. Her mother was human, but her father was... not. Daniel Hill was a werewolf. His genes were recessive. Odette was the only child to inherit her father's dangerous side. She later learned that this was common theme with his children.

Being the only werewolf in the family left her with a lot of question. Her father wasn't very accepting of himself, but he tried his best to teach Odette how to quell her inner demons. He taught her how to suppress, not how to embrace it... but embrace is she wanted! Odette was wild at heart. At 13, she was getting high behind the gym with some high schoolers she showed her boobs to in exchange for ecstasy. She liked to feel she was flying, and spinning, and running all at the same time. She didn't like the taste of alcohol, but she loved the way it made her head feel.

Her family became worried, sent her to rehab. It didn't take. When she was 19, Odette got into a fight with one of her sisters. She ended up "wolfing out" and scratching her sister pretty good. That's when her dad ordered that she either "get her shit together" or "get out". Odette didn't like to follow the rules so she made a decision. For her sanity, Odette went through her father's things... stealing money and any resources she could before getting out, when she stumbled across a secret.

She wasn't her father's only werewolf kid. There was another one. After a pretty nasty confrontation with her dad, Odette finally learned where she could find him. She left that night. Following her dad's instructions, she ended up at the "Hill House", but her brother wasn't there. She continued her search, determined to find that missing piece of her story that just might make her whole.
